When you go to a bar (and in some restaurants) in Granada when you order your drinks (except for coffee or tea) you will realise that the waiter serves you a plate with food, this is a tapa and it is free.
You can find tapas’ bars in Granada in the whole city but there are some areas where it is more usual “tapear”. They are the following: Plaza de toros, Zaidin, La Chana, Gonzalo Gallas Street, Albaycin and Calle Elvira.
In some bars you can choose the tapa that you want, usually you can choose two different tapas for each group of people. There are tapas of several kinds, if you are vegan or vegetarian you can tell it to the waiter. It is easy to find bars with vegan tapas.
In some bars you have the opportunity to ask for an extra tapa as well which costs less than two euros.
It is common to find these bars in Granada and in the villages of Granada as well, so that’s way I inspire you to know our gastronomy.
I hope you enjoy it!
